Wigan Warriors player commits to Hull FC in a transfer

Tiaki Chan was acquired by Wigan Warriors from Catalans Dragons during the off-season. In 2023, Chan had a breakthrough season. He played in 12 games as they advanced to the Grand Final, where Wigan ultimately triumphed. Since his transfer, Chan has struggled to get opportunities with the first squad. He did not play in the game.

This season, Chan has only appeared in three Super League games while wearing Cherry and White. He participated in Wigan’s games against the London Broncos, Leigh Leopards, and Huddersfield Giants. He recently signed a loan with Hull FC and made his debut in their loss to London.

Chan’s loan relocation was only supposed to last for two weeks. But Matt Peet, the Wigan coach, has now explained Chan’s circumstances.
