The next Scream movie is scheduled to begin filming soon (possibly by the end of the year), and a new casting rumor doing the rounds online is claiming that McKenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire) is in talks to join the cast.
According to Daniel Richtman, Grace is up for the role of Sidney Prescott’s (Neve Campbell) eldest daughter, Tatum.
We also have confirmation that Courteney Cox will reprise her role as Gale Weathers. The Friends alum had previously stated that she hadn’t officially signed on, but has now revealed to US Magazine that Gale will be back after coming very close to death (every one of those 356 knife wounds clearly missed her vital organs) in the previous movie.
“I’m the longest running Scream queen, so I guess I can’t stop now,” said the actress.
