The beloved Smoky Mountains tourist resort of Pigeon Forge is in shock following a catastrophic plane crash that has horribly changed the town’s scenery. A small aircraft went off course early this morning and crashed right into the center of the town, severely damaging several historic landmarks as well as the annual Rod Run event.

When the accident happened, the beloved national meeting of auto enthusiasts, the Rod Run, was in full motion.
